ICLW

Lovin’ Trisha, Emily, and Unaffected!

It’s Blog Love time!

First up is Trisha from The Elusive Second Line. Her newest post is about a very sweet dream she had last night about a precious baby boy she’s waiting to meet and hold in her arms. In Too Tired, she is writing about the stress of her job and counting down to O day. And I LOVE this post about love and support! Go give her some love!

Next up, Emily from A Blanket 2 Keep. In her newest post, she is sharing some recent happenings about her job, her husband, and what she’s up to. She has a getting to know you-welcome ICLW post to check out. And, she feels she is getting stronger as a couple, to do more treatments, and to continue to work out. Go girl! Go send her some love!

And last but not least is Unaffected from For we are bound by symmetry.  In her newest post, she is giving us a little look back 300 posts ago from when/where she started her blog. In stage fight, she writes about waiting for her next cycle, a new dress and shoes and links to a great song! And she has a Welcome ICLW post where she shares some random facts and her TTC history revealing a recent miscarriage. She could use some virtual hugs right now!

*Psssttt…All of these ladies are on the ICLW list!*

Lovin’ Selbe, Lisa, and Mo!

It’s time for Blog Love, ICLW  style! These ladies are on the list (except one), so check them out but before you do, if this is your first time here, look around a bit! Thanks for popping in! ;-)

First up is Selbe from Broken Birds & Bees, #66 on the ICLW list. In her newest post, she describes her cycle day and lists a lot of great details that I think could be really helpful to others who are reading and also for herself to compare notes from cycle to cycle. She has a welcome ICLW post where she shares about her recent miscarraige. In Truths #1-7, she shares some cool photos she has been taking lately. Go send her some love!

Next up is Lisa from Hapa Hopes (#24). In Maybe If I Run A Marathon, she mentions how she is good to go for IUI #3. And in her 100th post, she confesses to deactivating her FB account! And have you been tagged in the MEME surfing around the web? I’ve noticed it on quite a few ICLW blogs I read tonight. Check out Lisa’s answers here and send her some love!

And last but not least is Mo from Mommy Odyssey. Her water broke at 22 weeks and she was being induced last night. It is truly an unimaginable loss and my heart is breaking for her right now. She is not on the ICLW list this month, but I had to add her on to this post because she could use a lot of love right now. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. You can contact her on this page. Thank  you!

Lovin’ Her Royal Fabulousness, The Stork Diaries, and The Childless Mom

Happy New Year!

Today is Chinese New Year or a new Lunar year and it’s the year of the dragon which my husband tells me is the luckiest sign of the zodiac. So, with that being said, I really hope this is an extremely lucky year for all of you and 2012 is YOUR year! ;-)

If you’re here from ICLW, please go to my welcome post below. Now, it’s time for Blog Love, ICLW style!

First up, I’m lovin’ #4: Her Royal Fabulousness who blogs at Waiting For Little Feet.  In her newest post, sooooo slooooow, she’s writing about the slow and steady process of her first IVF cycle so far with a link to a great DOORS song. She also has a welcome ICLW post to learn more about her. And in Everything’s Coming Up Millhouse, she is getting and showing some love and adding a link to a really cool song by OK Go. So, go give her some more right now and wish her some luck with this cycle!

Next we have, #32, The Stork Diaries. In her newest post, The Labyrinth, she is discussing the timing, the questions, and the fears we may all think about from time to time but never really say out loud. She has a rather funny post called 5 Facebook Statuses You’ll Probably Never Post but Should that you must read for a laugh or two! The Stork Diaries also recently had a birthday and she writes about who she was as a teenager with a sister-in-law experiencing infertility and what she wish she could have understood then but does now. It’s quite a poignant post. Go send her some birthday love with a virtual hug!

And last but certainly not least, we have #51, The Childless Mom. In her newest post, Sometimes, I just shake my head, she explains some of the craziness in just one portion of her day. She has another crazy post in My Cell Phone’s Out where she writes about the stresses of getting meds on time for her IVF cycle, and I can totally relate to that! There’s more to this story in Let’s Hypothetically say I make guns. Go send her some good wishes for this cycle!

Go check out these ladies and all on the ICLW list and send them some love!

January ICLW Welcome!

Hello all! It’s one of my favorite times of the month because it’s ICLW time again. In case you don’t know about ICLW, check it out here. It’s also a great time for me here at Stress Free Infertility because I recently celebrated my 2 year Blogiversary and I’m very proud of how much this blog has grown in the last two years. And, I’m most excited about my memoir, Ordinary Miracles, which is nearly finished and will be out to the public within the next couple of months! And, in case you missed it in my last post, I was recently awarded Editor’s Choice recognition by my publishing company and I am so very honored!

Here’s a little bit about me in case this is your first time here. I went through 6 IVF cycles (3 fresh and 3 frozen) over a 3 year span and I now have an almost 5  year old daughter and 2 year old boy/girl twins. I teach 1st grade full time and I live in NY, on Long Island with my husband, my three miracles, and my boxer Toby. I decided to write this blog (and my memoir) to help others through their infertility journey. This blog is also on Facebook and Twitter (and I would LOVE some more followers and friends there!) I will also be creating a website for my book and keep you all posted on that as well.

I am now working on my next book which will be a collection of success stories, stress free techniques that worked, and advice from those who’ve been there. I usually post stories on Sunday (but I don’t have a new one to post today). If you’ve been successful and would like to share your story here and in my new book, go to Calling All Success Stories to get the Q & A format I use. If you’d like to read stories I’ve already featured, go to Success Stories.

It’s a new year, here’s a recycled post to keep you focused: Get Your Zzzzs! And, we’ve had some snow this past weekend here in NY. If you’re experiencing cold weather near you, here’s a recycled post about keeping warm: Hydrate Your Body, Warm Your Belly.

Thanks so much for stopping by! ;-)

Happy January ICLW!

2 Year Blogaversary!

Hello everone! I am so excited today because it is my 2 year blogaversary! That’s right, I’ve been writing here at Stress Free Infertility for 2 years now. So much has happened in the last 2 years, I wanted to share a bit with you.

In my life, my first IVF miracle is now 4 1/2 years old! She is so amazing and bright. I especially love how she hugs and kisses me daily and says how much she loves me! So precious. And my FET miracle twins, Mia and Logan are now 2 years old. When I first started writing this blog, they were only a couple months and boy were things a little hectic. Times are still a bit harried but there’s so much more activity from everyone around! They both just started saying “love you!” and it melts my heart each time! And in the last 2 years, I reached a personal goal of finishing my memoir that chronicles my journey through primary and secondary infertility! It is now in the final stages of being self published and I am so thrilled!

In the last 2 years on the Internet, I have met so many courageous men and women pouring out their hearts and persevering through the trials of infertility. I am honored to be apart of such a tenacious group whom are so supportive. I have also met so many professionals and groups whom help out this IF community. If this is your first time here through ICLW, check out my amazing list of blogs that has grown considerably in the last 2 years. I now have 246+ infertility blogs listed and 39 infertility resources/websites. But what is pretty amazing is the 152 infertility blogs that have been successful through IF. (Most of them at one time were once on my other list.) That in itself should give you some hope. If you’re not on any of my lists, let me know, and I will of course add you on! ;-)

Happy ICLW! And a very Happy Holiday to all!

Psst..check out my giveaway from InJewels if you haven’t yet entered! They are letting you choose your favorite piece!

This and That

Hi! If you’re here from ICLW and it’s your first time, welcome to my blog! On Sundays, I try to post a success story (so if you’ve been successful and want to share your story and be an inspiration to so many, go to my Q & A format for the details!)

I am currently having a giveaway for 2 tickets to see an awesome Broadway show called Godspell! Perhaps you’ve heard of it? You (or someone you know who you can win for and give the tickets graciously to as a gift) needs to be in the NY area or have the means to get there! Go to the Godspell Giveaway for more details. It’s such a wonderfully uplifting show! You’ll love it!  **This Giveaway is now closed!**

Tomorrow, I’m reviewing Test Tubes and Testosterone by Michael Suanders, (aka @theIVFdad). It’s a wonderful memoir from the male POV which is so refreshing! So do come back!

On Mondays, I post a blog love post. You usually need to be on my blog roll and I randomly select you. (So if you’re not, just tell me and I’ll add you on!) During ICLW however, I randomly choose from that list. But today, I am extending a virtual hug to all on the list this month, I will try my hardest to get to most of you with a comment this week.

And with the holidays coming up, I’m sure everyone likes to talk about what they’re thankful for. Well, I am thankful for my miracles of course. My daughter is now 4 1/2 (via an IVF) and my b/g twins are now 2 (via an FET cycle). You can read more about my journey in my upcoming memoir Ordinary Miracles which will be self published within the next few months. I am also thankful for this amazing online community because you are all so strong and supportive. And, I’m thankful for ICLW because it allows me the opportunity to meet others I may never have stumbled upon.

So, what are you thankful for this year? ;-)

Lovin’ Maria, Stefanie, and Jenny!

It’s Blog Love time, ICLW style! ;-)

First on the ICLW list randomly picked is #73, Maria who blogs at Every Day is A Country Song. She has a post on her history called Crazy Faith. I love how she posts a country song as the theme for each post! Her newest post was celebrating LOVE for her friend’s wedding and Natasha Beddingfield’s Wild Horses. And this post was both crafty and fun in Here For A Good Time.

Next up is #14, Stefanie from Through the eyes of a Stranger.  In her Welcome post, she is hoping to meet some new followers! ;-) In Venting, she’s looking for support and reaching out. And here are some awesome pictures from her business trip to Dubai!  You can read more about her journey here.

And lastly, we have #69, Jenny from The Long Way Around. In Too Much To Ask For? she writes about how mad she was that a friend didn’t acknowledge her miscarriage during a recent gathering and wanted to know if you had similar tales to share. She has a Welcome ICLW post and is looking for some support. In Doing Well, she writes so powerfully with how she is handling this second loss. I love how she writes, “I’m just grateful that I have been able to stay so strong about this.”

Go visit these ICLW ladies and send them some love and support!

September ICLW!

Hello out there and welcome to my corner of the Internet! I am so excited that Fall is here and I’m looking forward to some fall foliage as I drive into Connecticut today for a family wedding. I’ve been writing this blog for nearly 2 years, shortly after my miracle twins were born via IVF. I also have a daughter who was my first IVF miracle and she is now 4 1/2. I recently wrote a memoir about my journey that I am self publishing and it will be out soon. It’s called Ordinary Miracles and I’m very excited about it!

It’s PCOS awareness month and I’m having a  PCOS Awareness giveaway you should check out! (Not a lot of people have entered…hint, hint!) And there’s been lots of great information, success stories, and bloggers all related to PCOS this month, so stay around for a while and catch up! ;-)

I wanted to link to another great site today for Fertility News Friday. The site has a wealth of info. Go to: Your Guide to PCOS. Happy Reading!

P.S. I’m still looking for guest bloggers to share their experiences with PCOS. If you’re interested in writing a post for this blog this month, contact me at sfinfertility@optimum.net.
