One affirmation I found yesterday from Natural Health for Fertility that I wanted to explore further is “I trust my body.” It is especially important to say this (out loud) to yourself if you’ve ever felt “broken” or as though your body has failed you.
I can’t tell you how many times I have felt this way –especially after a negative IVF cycle with seemingly near perfect embryos, a thick endometrium lining, and hormones at the right levels. I couldn’t understand what went wrong and ultimately I blamed my body. It grew into a resentment and manifested a very negative outlook I began having about myself.
I started to realize that the more negative I felt, the less likely I would actually get pregnant. And, I didn’t want any baby starting it’s life in a hostile, stressed environment. So, I began to trust my body; to trust that my baby would come at the right time for me and my husband. And, eventually, this thinking worked out.
