On account of my blogoversary coming up and the fact that I’m in a giving mood for the holidays, I decided to forgo my usual Blog Love post and do a gi.ve.aw.ay post! And it’s really easy!
- Just browse my virtual bookshelf below which lists some of the best infertility books out there *(which by the way is also on my sidebar for easy reference
) - Then choose which book you’d like to own and why in a comment on this giveaway post.
- Include your e-mail on each comment so I can contact you!
I will giveaway a brand new copy of the chosen book to one lucky commenter picked at random!
For extra entries, you can:
- Tw.eet about it (but please let me know you did and include my tw.itt.er name @stressfreeIF)
- Follow me on Tw.itt.er (or let me know you already do)
- Like me on Fa.ce.bo.ok (or let me know you already do)
- And/or blog about it (but please link back to this post and let me know)!
The deadline will be December 31st! Good luck!!

What a wonderful giveaway! I’d love either Mel’s book or a few good eggs.

Hi There,
I already follow you and I am really interested in ready So Close. I have been reading blogs this morning for ICLW and came across a review of this book on someones blog http://egghunt.wordpress.com/. I copied the name of the book down and plan to get it, unless I win it of course.
I have been TTC for 2 years and just m/c after my first IVF, I need stories of inspiration!
Unsung Lullaby’s sounds like a good read. I can’t relate to any of the IVF books because we didn’t get to that point.
Here from ICLW
I’d pick “When you’re not expecting.” With where I’m at in my journey, I’m not sure I’m going to be pursuing pregnancy right now any longer. I already own “Navigating the Land of IF,” and many of the other books are IVF related, it seems like the book for me is one that will help me grieve putting the idea of TTC aside for now. Thanks for a great give-a-way and an awesome blog
I would pick the – When You’re NOT expecting: An Infertility Survival Guide. I haven’t seen this one before and would love to be more informed
I would love “Silent Sorority”

Well, I like you other places, but you know
I tweeted about your giveaway!
I blogged about your giveaway:

What a fantastic idea and especially great for the holiday season when these books would have the most impact and be needed the most. This is such a thoughtful idea. I already follow you on Twitter (MissRedShoes). I also have your button on my new blog.
I would choose – Silent Sorority: A Barren Woman Gets Busy, Angry, Lost and Found for that book would be the most applicable and appropriate (for a better word!) to my situation. I actually came across this book two days ago during my search for information so the irony that it was on your bookshelf struck me. I am a ‘barren’ woman desperately trying to grasp this situation. This is a completely new experience to me and I am trying to read as much as I can. I am finding that other women’s blog has been so powerful and so helpful to me.
Thank you.
I would love to have Too Close. With IVF #2 right around the corner I would love to have a good humorous book to read during the dreaded TWW. Thanks for hosting such a great giveaway!

Hello from ICLW. Just wanted to say think you for your blog. The tagline, “becoming empowered when you feel powerless” really hit home. I’ve never felt this powerless in my life, I’ve never had a problem that I couldn’t solve with action, and I’ve never felt the frustration that comes with having zero control. This is the black hold of infertility for me and I appreciate that your blog is dedicated to helping others overcome it. I am following you from here on out!

I would love the Infertility Survival Handbook. Not only would it help me, but I am a therapist and I’m considering focusing on infertility if I can ever get through this myself!
That handbook was recommended by a few people as a positive therapeutic book.
When Bad Things Happen to Good People
That is the book that I think would be the best for me to own because it’s title hits the nail on the head.
Merry Christmas and thanks for the giveaway.
I am really interested in “The Empty Picture Frame” just because picture frames were how we told everyone we were pregnant, only to lose that baby at 12 weeks. Now we’re not the only ones with empty picture frames.
I’m now following you on facebook too!
Now following you on twitter too!
I’ve heard great things about “A Few Good Eggs”. I am definitely looking for something with humor. :0)
I am now following you on Twitter. yay!
I just tweeted about it. Actually, my first tweet ever. LOL
oh I guess I should tell you what my twitter ID is? IFsux
