The success stories all share techniques and practices for dealing with the stress of infertility. I think we all share that goal--to be stress free through infertility--whether our treatment/procedure/cycle 'worked' or not. It would be comforting to read stories of 'successes' that show other solutions, aren't necessarily an 'ending' to a difficult journey but occur in the process of becoming a parent. We can measure success in many different ways. I find the success stories helpful for what is shared about the process the individual went through. I am always left with a happiness tinged with yearning for my own success story to come.

I do like to read them too, but I also agree with a previous poster who said it would be interesting to read about "success stories" of women who did not, in fact, achieve their expected goal. Whether it ends up being adoption or coming to terms with being childless, it would be nice to see people who manage to overcome all the grief and sadness and be happy even when dealt a crappy hand.

I too like the success stories! Before blogging, I hadnt known anyone who struggled with infertility so it was a lot harder to be hopeful. Now that I have met several fellow bloggers and am able to read of their stories it is so nice to know that it can happen! Please keep posting them!

Keep 'em coming! :) Like you, hearing other success stories boosts my spirits. My hubby and I beat the odds by having a success story with our first IVF cycle (praise the Lord!). We are now gearing up for cycle #2 and the emotional rollercoaster it entails - but amidst it all, these stories once again fill me with hope. Thank you so much for posting them!

You hit in on the head for me - they're painful deep down, but ultimately uplifting. I say keep running them! It's also nice to hear what WORKED for other IFers!

I skip the "success stories" because they don't make me smile, they just remind me of my own failure.

I would be interested to read "success stories" from women who were unsuccessful in achieving pregnancy and having a child. I'd like to hear how some women came to terms with childless living after years of unsuccessfully battling infertility.

I like the success stories...they give me a sense of hope...they offer insight & advice for coping. I find them uplifting.
