Becoming Empowered When You Feel Powerless
So, this week I’m checkin’ in and I wanted to make a list of who’s cycling (now or soon) and what type of cycle it is (Clomid, IUI, IVF) and where you’re at in your cycle (just about to anxiously start, in the crazy middle, or at the long awaited end). Or maybe you’re pursuing adoption or surrogacy! I want EVERYONE to chime in so I can organize a post. You are not alone in this! Let’s connect and support each other!!

Hi,
Although I don’t mention alot of it on my blog, I am on CD28; I did 50mg of clomid on days 3-7 and estrogen on days 8-12….
I think the reason I don’t mention this is because it was a huge step BACKwards for us; you seen I’ve already done this…then 100mg….then 150mg…200mg…250mg….Femara….IUI’s with clomid, then IUI’s with injections…so after all this going all the way back to 50mg seems kinda strange.
While on break saving money for IVF my cycles started getting REALLY short…I’m talking every 14-15 days….I would just get off my cycle, maybe have a week and then start again…I felt like we couldn’t even attempt to try natrual and it hurt…so I begged my Dr for something, either a) Birthcontrol or b) the lowest dosage of clomid…there is no way I would get back on BC….so we opted for Clomid.
After the first cycle on it my cycle went from 15 to 19…. the next went from 19 to 23 and now this cycle I’m on CD28…although I am hoping and praying that this is IT, I’m just happy that I am having longer, more normal cycles.
I am on day 29 and expecting my period anytime now as I didn’t have a positive HPT today. I know I should stop the progesterone supps but part of me is hoping to give it one or two mores days to test and what if it I get a positive?! I wouldn’t have wanted to stop the supps…. In any case this was a Femara cyle and we are now moving on to IUI. We’re ready to get down to business!

Currently, I am waiting to get in to see an RE…the first available app’t is not until June 3rd. Ughhh! So, I am in the hurry up and wait cycle!
As for my cycle…I’m nearing the end of the 2ww, as we are still trying naturaly until our appointment. Frusterating, but what do you do.

I don’t know that you want to hear from me, as I’m not currently cycling, but if I were, I would be in the TWW.
If you want to hear what I am waiting for, well that would be a second opinion on uterine rupture surgery.

I am a day or a few away from O, so about to enter the 2ww
on CD 38 and waiting for AF so we can get on with the show and our first IUI. My cycles are rarely this random in length so I’m hoping acupuncture tomorrow night will bring on AF (it usually does within a day).
We have just started an IVF cycle today.
Had my first injection of Gonal F… Husband had to practically chase me down to stab me! LOL
I’m also trying Metformin whilst doing the injections to see if that makes any difference to my egg quality.
We’ll see.
