Lovin’ Mom Genes!

   This week, I’m lovin’ Mom Genes from Finding My Mom Genes! I just recently found her blog and I was instantly hooked! She’s not a stiletto boot wearin’ coffee drinker but she is a Mississippi raised, California lovin’, Midwestern who teaches and ironically paints nursery art (a business she started before her infertility battle began).  She’s been blogging since August of 2009 and has recently endured a negative IVF cycle.

   She always has such great pics with her posts and usually more than one…it’s really what makes her blog come to life. Some of them are quite funny like her Mom jeans (1 & 2 plus video) and her “Little Game.”  Others are quite beautiful like her wedding pics, a fall trip to California &  most recently Atlantis!

    I love the inserts of bible versus she adds in. You’ll appreciate them even if  you’re not overly religious. But what I love even more is how big her heart is and how much she cares about her readers. In one post she mentioned that she has added each of her readers in her prayer book and continually writes her thanks, praise, appreciation and prayers for them.

  Another reason I love her is her wear-your-heart-on-your-sleeve kind of way of showing her emotions. Her moods are definitely exhibited in her posts. You can tell when she’s sweetly happy, delightfully inspired,  super excited, mildly depressed, frustratingly irritated or totally devastated.

  Last week here, we all ”chatted” about comments and how alone it made us feel. I’ve also been reading blogs about the lack of empathy you feel from the fertile world. Well, while you’re embracing the infertile world, you will empathize with her instantly. Cute is definitely the word that comes to mind when I think of her blog. You will adore her too.
