Lovin’ Jem!

Jem's furbaby Sharkey

Today on Blog Love Monday, we are featuring Jem from Ambivalent Womb.  She has been blogging since August of 2009 and has been TTC since January of 2007. Her husband (“Mr. Jem”) and her have 2 cats: Fluffy and Sharkey (who is pictured at the right!).

To explain her blog title, she says:

“What’s this ‘ambivalent womb’ thing?” you ask. It’s about the mixed feelings (ranging from total excitement to abject terror) I have about motherhood, the ups and downs about being “fertility challenged.”
Her humour definitely shines through like in her earlier post: Gourmet Classics, and then there is her sweet, tender side, like in Message in a Bottle…a love letter to our child, and then there’s posts that have both like Giggles on the u/s table.
I love how she asks questions in her posts, showing she cares about her readers and their opinions. It keeps us involved too! But mostly, I love that she’s sincere and real. She has given us a detailed account of what it’s like to battle MFI (male factor infertility), go through acupuncture, have resentments and work issues, go through IVF, endure 2 chemical pregnancies and most recently, lose a loved one. (So sorry for your loss Jem!) And despite all of this, she has a sense of hope. Her optimism is quite inspiring! We love you Jem and we’re pulling for you.

Don’t forget to stop by and check out her blog: Ambivalent Womb.

Wow, I’m all kind of happy/embarrassed to be featured on your blog. Thanks!
