#2: Make a list of Resolutions
The new year is almost upon us and I’m sure you’ve thought of making resolutions already. This year, try to make your resolutions all about you. After all, it can’t all be about procreating! Before infertility broke you down, you were once whole, happy, and excited about the future. You can feel that again. You just have to allow yourself to be hopeful without fear.
Here are some suggestions for resolutions: (In future blogs, I will go to greater detail about each one!)
- Visualize yourself pregnant and believe it’s possible….positive affirmation can go a long way.
- Take at least 20 minutes to relax each day (through meditation, yoga, acupuncture, visualization, or soft music).
- Pamper yourself whenever possible (which can be done on a variety of budgets)
- Indulge in a long lost talent or hobby you’ve been meaning to pursue.
- Reach out to others, vent and connect. This type of support will do wonders!
